Holder of a Lebanese degree in private Law from Saint Joseph University, Beirut (1993) and a Masters Postgraduate Program in Democracy, the Rule of Law & Security from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom (2006).
Generalist attorney with a substantial past of corporate in-house legal Counsel with a strong hold on general commercial, corporate and banking law, insurance law, telecommunications, IT, and IPR law and experienced in inheritance and real estate matters and general civil litigation as well as business and immigration law to Canada.

Ms Rhayem is an active member of the above national and international organizations and has contributed as a speaker at their events or conferences held since 2004 and till present.
Founding member of the Public Interest Advocacy Center, Lebanon (PINACLE 2005), Ms. Rhayem has worked with a group of lawyers in promoting Human Rights and Clinical Legal Education in addition to providing pro-bono legal assistance and litigation to vulnerable groups and refugees in Lebanon.
- 1-2 May 2011, completed courses & training on Business Immigration law in Canada.
- 27-29 July 2009, pursued a Compliance Alert course within banking and insurance sectors in Lebanon, UAE and Qatar and obtained a Certificate of Achievement in completing all required coursework for Certified Anti-Money Laundering Expert
- 23 Juin 2009, participated as speaker from PINACLE on History & Evolution of Human Rights in the Euro-Mediterranean Training Course for Human Rights, Education with Young People 21-29 June 2009, Beirut Arab University Debbiye – Lebanon.
- 12-15 March 2009, participated as speaker in the “Recent Developments in Pharmaceuticals Law” a conference organized by the International Association of Young Lawyers AIJA in Prague/Czech Republic in collaboration with the Czech Bar Association. Subject of the presentation: “Middle Eastern Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and Pharmaceuticals”.
- 4-5 February 2009, participated as speaker in the “Capacity-building workshop on the Online Legal Protection” organized by the Lebanese University and the Beirut Bar Association in collaboration with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Subject of the presentation: the “Role of Intellectual Property in Electronic Commerce”.
